THE STAFF AT JAMAHOME

Claudette Graham is Jamahome's manager, cook and caretaker. She takes great pride in taking care of guests at Jamahome and is a superb cook. She will greet you when you arrive, and she and/or her assistants, Pauline Parkinson and Chery McLeish, will be there everyday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. They will cook, shop, clean, wash and iron. Claudette can be a great help to you in finding things to do and how to get them done.

  Driver 
Jamahome has a dedicated van and driver, Erron Graham, available for hire anytime for trips or airport transfer. The cost for sightseeing trips varies with the number of passengers and the length of the trip, but generally runs between US$60-$300. Claudette can arrange this for you.

 

  Baby-sitting and children
Children are welcome. There is a wading area at the beach in front of Jamahome. There is a crib, two high chairs and various games and toys. Claudette can arrange baby sitters for young children.

 

  Tipping the Staff
It is customary to tip the staff when you leave to go home. The total standard tip is US$5.00 per guest per day. If you feel you have been especially well taken care of, tip more than the standard. You may pay in either United States or Jamaican currency.
