I don’t remember exactly when we started traveling to Jamaica, but it’s been well over ten years. We go to the same place every year and do the same things: we read books, solve crossword puzzles, eat Jamaican food, and laze by the Caribbean water, even bluer than my bride’s eyes. Boring? Maybe, to many – some of them including friends and even blood relatives. But not to us. Whenever we have time, we try to take two vacations a year. We very much enjoyed our stay; the house was comfortable, clean and well maintained.  And everything we had heard about Claudette was true, as she is a gracious, warm and competent house keeper.  Thank you for accommodating us on such short notice.  We look forward to a return visit.

By the way, the first part of the week was spent at Treasure Beach.  We attended the Calabash Literary Festival at Jake’s.  It was quite good with world class talent.  It is a different view of Jamaicans and their accomplishments.  Many authors were there (Tony Winkler and Edward Seaga to name a few), who read from their works and were then available for signing and a chat.  All this in a large open-side outdoor tent with the Calabash Bay in the immediate background.  Highly recommended.

Jamahome travelers returned last night with only the highest praise for their experience. They were quite impressed with your staff – especially Claudette who made them feel extremely comfortable and provided delicious meals. I’ll ask if they have any suggestions for you, but  my impression  is that it would only be in the capacity to make a great experience even greater.

Thanks again for all your assistance – the trip provided lifetime memories for all to keep, and their first statement at the airport was that” Jamahome is a place that needed to be revisited”- ha. That probably sums the experience. If I may ever be of assistance to you down here in the sunny South, please let me know.

I just want to tell you how much we enjoyed the experience of renting your home in Jamaica.   Your house is exquisitely sited and one of the best configurations I have ever seen for accommodating a large family.  Claudette and Pauline were extremely gracious, and as you promised, both are very good cooks.  The beach was fantastic for babies and offered days of surf and calm for the adults. Thank you for your patience with the details in our planning for this trip.

Our stay at Jamahome was really incredible. You have a fabulous piece of property. And Claudette and Pauline were amazingly accommodating. We felt like we had a little family retreat. Thank you so much for all of your help planning and arranging the vacation. We really want to return again next year for the same President's Week break. Our school district has not published next year's calendar yet, but I imagine it will be from the 16th to the 23rd of February.  Thanks again.

Thanks so much for checking up on us. We had a wonderful time. All went well of course until we got stuck in Dallas due to weather. Not the end of a beautiful week that we had planned but Jamahome was everything we had hoped. We will look forward to coming back again and bringing our kids with us next time to enjoy the beauty of Jamaica. The staff was wonderful and we made good use of Erron to see the sights.

The only thing missing was wireless Internet connections so that would be my only suggestion. We do so much business by internet these days that high speed is essential to file transfers, etc.  Thanks so much for sharing your Jamaica Home with us.

Well, our bodies arrived back in York last night, but our hearts and souls are still in Jamaica! The six of us  had an unforgettable time at Jamahome. We've had at least 5 different cooks -- all very good – during the 30 years we've been going to Silver Sands, but none of them could top Claudette. She is also the best manager we've known during those years. We enjoyed getting to know Pauline as well, and we can only hope that felt we were guests worthy of their talents. Erron took such great care of our transportation needs at most reasonable costs.

And your home and its location are beautiful as well, and we feel it is unmatched by any we've seen there. We all agreed that it would always be our choice anytime we came back to Jamaica.  Thanks again for affording us this opportunity.
