Entry to Jamahome is into a cathedral ceiling entrance hall with a view across the large living room and screened sun porch toward a magnificent vista of the sea and the floral seaside patio.  The dining room has a picture window facing the sea and opens onto the sun porch and kitchen.  The dining table seats eight and can be expanded to twelve.  The large kitchen has lots of storage, a central island and adjacent pantry.

The five bedrooms each have full bathrooms, air conditioners, ceiling fans, closets and louvered windows through which the sea can be heard.  The southeast and southwest bedrooms have doorways onto the secluded garden patio.  The west bedroom has a king bed.  The east, southeast and southwest bedrooms can be either two twins or a king bed.  The south bedroom has a queen bed.  There is a sofa bed in the living room.  In addition there are a crib and a folding cot.

The Staff.  Claudette Graham, our manager/cook has over 20 years' experience serving guests at Jamahome and gets rave reviews for her delicious Jamaican cooking (click here for menu) and her friendly, informative help with everything else.  Pauline Parkinson and Althia Campbell assist Claudette and together they do all the chores -- cooking, food shopping, cleaning and clothes washing.  Our gardener, Astley Williams, tends the gardens, lawns and Jamacove.

The staff loves children, and babysitting is readily available at reasonable cost.  Jamahome is on one level and is wheelchair accessible throughout the rooms and grounds and one bathroom.

For free use Jamahome has a TV, DVD, VCR, stereo CD player, iHome, wired and wireless internet, extensive library of books, videotapes and DVDs, snorkeling and fishing equipment, tennis rackets, inflated rubber boat, beach towels, linens, six sun lounges, three hammocks, two patio tables with chairs, beach toys and parlor games.

Telephone and Fax are available with toll calls and paper charges (10c/page) paid by guests.
