Jamahome is a luxurious, spacious villa of 3,200 sq. ft.  The large living room, screened sun porch and dining room have a beautiful vista of the sea 100 feet away.  There are two patios with one facing the sea and the other a beautiful floral garden.  The five bedrooms each have air conditioners and a full bath.  The dining room seats 8-12.  The experienced full time staff (Claudette Graham assisted by Pauline Parkinson and Althia Campbell) come daily 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. and do all the cooking (superb Jamaican cuisine), food shopping, cleaning, beds and wash.  Claudette, who is also the manager, can arrange sightseeing trips for you.  Jamahome has a dedicated van and driver, Ruddy Mason, available for airport transfer and sightseeing trips anytime.  Unless you rent a car, we arrange for Ruddy to meet you at the Montego Bay airport.  Jamahome is child friendly and wheelchair accessible.  The villa is smoke free.  Pets are permitted with prior approval.  Silver Sands Villa Resort is a gated community with modern security monitoring equipment and 24 hour security staff.  It is in a semi-rural setting with the small town of Duncans one mile away.  Jamahome has an electrical security system and a small safe.

Staying at Jamahome is economical with all charges as follows: 

• Villa rental  (Click here for Rates).  Rental rates are by the night, the season and the number of bedrooms used (one to five).  Unused bedrooms are not rented to anyone else.  The staff and all Jamaican taxes are included in the price. 
• Food and drinks.  You pay for what Claudette has gotten at your departure.  The cost averages US$14-20 per day for each person for three meals at Jamahome.  You pay only for what you have used.
• Staff tips.  We recommend US$5.00 per day for each guest (including, of course, children).
• Airport transfer.  Our van driver will meet you at the airport, unless you rent a car.  His charge for the 30 mile trip is US$65 for the first one to four persons and $17 for each additional person.  Child seats are provided free.

A 20% refundable deposit secures a reservation with the balance due one month before arrival.  You may pay by check or credit card.  MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted.  Email or phone
